Alexander Hamilton

"A promise must never be broken."- Alexander Hamilton once said. To me this quote means a great deal because of the meaning alone with this quote. When you keep a promise it's something that you should always obey by since it is something you chose to do for someone. When you break a promise however others might not know about it but you do and it is a bad horrible feeling to have. For example lets say that you promised anyone that you would never smoke and or drink alcoholic beverages. You do keep your promise for years to come and you fell good about yourself because you've kept this promise. After lets say 20 years you have a friend that offers you a drink and you tell yourself that you made a promise to not drink. You chose to drink anyways and now you broke this promise. You feel guilty now and there is no way on changing that now. Lets now say that you do the opposite and don't smoke. you can go on as an honest person since you are still keeping that promise.This is my reflection on this quote and CTR.
