Arnold H. Glasgow

"In life, as in football, you won't go far, unless you know where the goal posts are."- is what Arnold H. Glasgow once said. this statement to me means that you can't achieve or do much in life without making goals for yourself. For example lets say that you want to have A's in all your classes but you aren't determined. You would most likely might remember but you'll always forget that. It will come to a point that you won't care for it and just leave it as it is. Now lets say that you are determined to get A's. You would write down in a journal or just remind yourself everyday and minute that you want to get A's. You would have to make sacrifices but all that matters is that you accomplish your goals. In the long run you would most likely was able to accomplish this goal and then most likely feel proud of yourself for doing so. This is my reflection about this statement and to me it seems like it should be important to make goals for yourself to improve yourself in life.
